Community budget · Annual community budget
The annual income and expense budget of a community of owners, which sets each owner's community fees.
Under the Horizontal Property Act, the owners' meeting approves the budget at least once a year. Each owner pays according to their participation share, and the community must set aside a reserve fund of at least 10% of the last ordinary budget.
In a new development, the first-year budget is a provisional estimate prepared by the developer or administrator. Ask for it before you buy.
